Want to learn how to prep meals for your family without total overwhelm?

You’ve come to the right place – welcome to mealprepish!

You know it’s important to cook at home if you want to eat well, save money on food and have more time to spend with your family…

… but cooking three meals plus snacks every single day? On top of work stuff, school stuff and general life stuff? You don’t have time for that. And the truth is, you don’t need to have time for that.

You just need to get smart in the kitchen instead of losing your mind every single day (or all your savings at the takeaway place, ahem).

That’s why I created mealprepish: To help you batch cook easily so you can save time, money and your sanity when it comes to feeding your hungry bunch of lion cubs.

By the way: Hello, friend!

I’m Nora and I’m the founder of mealprepish.

My husband and I are the working parents of soon-to-be 3 mini humans. We’ve been meal prepping for a while now, and I want to share all my experience with you.

While I do like to eat well and crave fresh fruit and veggies every day, mealprepish is never about diets or calories or weight. I have a complicated backstory with multiple eating disorders (from which I am firmly in remission) and believe in absolute food neutrality, intuitive eating and total freedom when it comes to choosing what to have for dinner.

I’m not a dietitian or trained health professional, but a mom who is passionate to help other families get their sh*t together around mealtimes – so you can actually enjoy your time around the table together, nourish your body and soul and put the 5pm dinner stress aside for good.

But… Why “mealprepish”?

Glad you asked.

Don’t get me wrong – I love staring at all the pretty little bento lunch boxes on Instagram as much as the next person, but that’s just not how meal prep works for me and my hungry, hungry family.

So, that’s not how I meal prep. Instead, I focus on making essentials like breakfast items, snacks and packable lunches.

In addition to this, I also prep ahead dinner components – things like slicing vegetables, mixing sauces and pre-cooking grains.

It’s meal prep. But not the kind of meal prep you see on Instagram. It’s made for families. It’s mealprepish 😉

So, what can you find here on the mealprepish hub?

I want this blog to be a resource for all your meal prep needs, so here’s what you’ll find in this little corner of the interwebz (hey I have street cred. yo?)
